Christian Journey
Me and my family will have to walk early in going to church because the road were block for the said event Triathlon 70.3. Well walking is a good exercise to make us fit physically. As I observe there are a lot of viewers who make some noise (cheers) by the time the athlete would pass by. People were shouting out loud, applauded when a famous actor Dingdong Dantes pass with his expensive bicycle. This, causes me to stop and keep observing on what had happen next. It came to my mind that, what if Jesus will pass on this streets? Would the people will shout and applauded? Would the people praises & recognize Him?
In crossing the street its not easy because you need to wait the authority's sign signal to pass to avoid & prevent such accident. In our life in going to heaven things are not easy but thanks to Lord Jesus (John 3:16) we may face trials and challenges, our faith is being tested to have more endurance. I keep on thinking on how the participants prepared their body to have more endurance for the race. Apostle Paul compare it to a race, that in order for us to finish the race we need to run in such a way as to get the prize 1 Corinthians 9:24.
Two years ago a cyclist run as fast as he can during the triathlon suddenly a person cross the street unaware what is coming. An accident happened the cyclist hit the person. In our spiritual journey sometimes we are not aware what's is happening, we work, strive with our own strength, until we realized that we are wrong that there's is God who is in control of everything. Our christian faith it is like a journey that we need to finish. As Paul declares I have fight the good fight, finish the race and keep his faith 2Timothy4:7.
